• Household waste including furniture, old toys, and general household rubbish.

• Garden waste products such as branches, leaves, grass clippings, or soil.

• Packaging waste from deliveries or completing a move. This could include cardboard boxes, plastic wrap, or Styrofoam.

• Rubble, such as concrete, bricks, stones, and tiles.

• Wood including untreated and non-hazardous wood materials.

• Scrap metal

Unfortunately, not everything can go into a skip.

The following items can be put into a skip, but you will need to let us know and pay an extra charge when booking. 

• Tyres

These items cost a little bit more to dispose of because of the way that they need to be handled.

If you have enough space, you can put your skip on your property on a driveway or in the garden. If you want to put you skip on a road owned by the local council, you will require a skip permit.

Skip permits are issued by local councils. Each council charges a different amount for a permit and they typically take 48 hours to arrange.
